A Sunday Walk
The air has lost its bite.
With warm undertones it envelops us as we walk by the water,
a lazy Sunday walk.
The smell of the sea sweeps over our skin and permeates our lungs.
Take a deep breath of spring.
A forgotten rose,
dropped in the water,
left to survive.
Washed ashore it basks in the sun.
Where did it come from?
Evening.
The sun sets on the water.
The days are getting longer
A bouquet of spring flowers.
The tulip has opened,
my room is filled with the fragrant scent of the hyacinth.
Stamped on the sidewalk, a gift to take with you for the upcoming week.
